I would like to congratulate the Year 11 Theatre Studies class for their production of The Academy. This was an amazing show and was a hit with the audiences. You are all stars.

The Academy is a story about students at a specialist performing arts Academy and follows them through the audition process, learning about life's challenges and culminating in the final showcase performance of the year. 

 

The Academy is Fame, Centre Stage and Take the Lead all in one. It is about students working in one of the toughest fields out there. The story has been adapted from the characters based in the 1980's film version of Fame, but given a whole new context and modern style that will hopefully leave audiences tapping their feet all the way home.
